The patio you stop using at sunset.

Most outdoor spaces get built for daylight and then sit empty after seven.

Lighting the house, the patio and the way between them is what turns a nice yard into somewhere you actually spend the evening. This is the architectural side — the building, the living space, and the approach to both.

What we light

House, patio and entryway lighting

Patios and decks

Enough to see your plate, low enough that it still feels like evening.

Seating and fire areas

Light around the edges rather than glare in the middle of the conversation.

House facade

Stone, brick and rooflines given depth instead of one flat porch bulb.

Entryways and garage

The approach lit so guests know where to walk and where to stop.

Pergolas and structures

Integrated so you see the light and not the fixture.

Ongoing maintenance

Adjustments and support to keep the system doing what it did on day one.

The night check-up

Lighting can only be judged in the dark. After installation we come back after sunset and adjust every fixture — angle, spread, brightness — until it does what it should. Most installers skip this step.

How we work

From walkthrough to after-dark fine tuning

1

Consultation

We walk the space after talking through how you use it and when.

2

Design

A plan built around the architecture and the way you move through the space.

3

Installation

Fixtures and wiring worked into existing hardscape and planting without tearing anything up.

4

Night check-up

We return after dark and fine tune every fixture.

5

Maintenance

Ongoing adjustment and support.

Questions

Outdoor lighting questions

Can lighting be added to a patio that is already built?

Yes. Most of our lighting work goes into existing spaces — we run it in without disturbing the hardscape.

Will it be too bright?

No. Outdoor lighting done well is dimmer than people expect. The aim is to see comfortably, not to floodlight the yard.

Do you offer motion sensor lighting?

No — that is not what we do. Our lighting is designed for ambiance and everyday safety rather than security triggering.

What is the difference between this and your landscape lighting?

Landscape lighting covers gardens, trees, beds and pathways. This covers the house itself and the spaces you sit in. Most projects use some of both.

How long does installation take?

Most residential projects are completed in a day or two, plus the return visit after dark.

What areas do you serve?

Reading, West Chester and the surrounding Southeastern PA area, including Berks, Chester, Lancaster and Montgomery counties.

Get the evening back.

Tell us how you use the space and when. We will design the lighting around that.
