Your house looks different at night. It should look better.
Lighting does more than let you see where you are walking.
It picks out the stonework you paid for, gives the front of the house depth after dark, and turns a patio into somewhere you would actually sit at nine at night. Gardens, trees, beds and paths — this is the planted side of the property.
Garden, path and feature lighting
Path and step lighting
Walkways, stairs and grade changes lit so nobody misses a step.
Uplighting
Trees, stone and architectural features picked out from below.
Planting beds
Depth and shape in the parts of the garden that disappear completely after sunset.
Patio and seating areas
Enough light to use the space, low enough that it still feels like evening.
Facade and entry
The front of the house given some depth instead of one flat porch light.
Ongoing maintenance
Adjustments and support to keep the system doing what it did on day one.
The night check-up
Lighting can only really be judged in the dark. After we install, we come back after sunset and adjust every fixture — angle, spread, brightness — until it looks the way it should. Most installers skip this. It is the difference between lights that are on and lighting that works.
From walkthrough to after-dark fine tuning
Consultation
We walk the property and talk about what you want lit and what you would rather stayed dark.
Design
A plan built around your landscape's actual features rather than a fixture every ten feet.
Installation
Fixtures and wiring integrated into the existing planting and hardscape without tearing it up.
Night check-up
We return after dark and fine tune every fixture until it does what it should.
Maintenance
Ongoing support to keep the system doing what it did on day one.
Lighting questions
What kind of fixtures do you install?
Path lights, spotlights and accent lighting, selected to suit the feature and the effect you are after.
Do you offer motion sensor lighting?
No — that is not what we do. Our lighting is designed for ambiance and everyday safety rather than security triggering.
Will installation damage my landscaping?
No. Wiring and fixtures are worked into the existing planting and hardscape carefully.
Does lighting actually improve safety?
Yes. Lit walkways, steps and grade changes are where most trips happen, and a well-lit property is a less appealing target.
Do you maintain the system afterwards?
Yes, including the after-dark check-ups and ongoing adjustments.
Can lighting be added to a landscape that is already established?
Yes. Most of our lighting work goes into gardens that are already planted and hardscape that is already built.
See what your property looks like lit.
We will walk it with you, talk through what is worth lighting, and come back after dark to get it right.
