Patio Revitalization and Repair

In this project, we took an aging outdoor patio area and transformed it into a vibrant space perfect for entertaining and relaxation. Our main objectives included cleaning organic growth that had begun to take over the brick surface, repairing low spots that had formed over time, and refreshing the look with new polymeric sand. Completing these tasks not only improved the aesthetics but also ensured the functionality and longevity of the patio.

Tackling this project, we started by clearing all unwanted organic growth. It was quite satisfying to see the bricks regain their natural color and texture. Next, addressing the low spots was crucial, as we needed to ensure rainwater could properly drain away, preventing future water damage.

After that, we added fresh polymeric sand between the bricks to lock them into place, preventing movement and deterring weed growth. This step also gave the patio a cleaner, more polished look, ready to withstand both weather and foot traffic.

The completed patio, accented by a built-in fire pit, now serves as a beautiful and functional setting for gatherings. Although our client opted not to have the area sealed this time, that's an option we readily offer to enhance durability even further. We believe this project highlights our commitment to enhancing outdoor spaces and creating areas that our clients love to use.
